Global security manufacturer, Gallagher, has announced they will be attending the 2022 Association of University Chief Security Officers (AUCSO) annual conference at the University of Leeds this March. Gallagher will showcase their integrated security solutions designed for complete campus control.

“Ensuring the safety of students and staff on campus is essential for an effective learning environment,” said Richard Huison, Gallagher’s Regional General Manager for the UK and Europe. “Many universities are integrating their security systems into a much larger ecosystem, which supports the delivery of a first-class student environment.

“Gallagher’s security solutions are designed to keep people safe, along with optimising facility use, reducing cyber security risks, and protecting assets among other things.”

Gallagher is trusted by education providers across the globe. Committed to ensuring these customers can share best practice and knowledge, Gallagher set up the Tertiary Education Security Network, a forum and online focus group that provides a digital platform for industry leaders to get together and share best practice.

Gallagher’s security solutions have protected people and assets at the University of East Anglia for more than 15 years. Miguel Rios, the university’s Business Systems Manager, said “The Gallagher system is such an integral part of the UEA security delivery. With a campus located across 320 acres of rolling parkland, Gallagher’s integrated security solutions provide complete campus control from one central management platform and deliver a seamless experience for our entire learning environment.

“Realistically we couldn’t live without the system, and Gallagher will play a pivotal role in our building refurb programme, which includes the iconic Ziggurats and will be kicking off soon.”
